Dr. Timothy Day is Chairman and CEO of Monarch Quantum, where he focuses on building the team, culture, and systems required to deliver world-class quantum photonics engines. With more than 25 years of experience commercializing advanced photonics systems, Tim has co-founded and successfully exited companies, including New Focus and Daylight Solutions, that helped scale laser and photonics technologies from the laboratory into telecommunications, aerospace, and defense markets. He holds graduate degrees in physics and electrical engineering from San Diego State University and Stanford University and is an active member of SPIE and QED-C.

Tim believes great causes make great businesses and leads Monarch with a servant-leadership philosophy grounded in trust, collaboration, technical excellence, and customer success. Outside of work, he is happiest on a mountain trail, snowboarding, or traveling with his wife and their growing family, preferably with good food, good conversation, and a great bottle of wine.

Bryan Taylor currently serves as the President & Chief Financial Officer for Monarch Quantum, where his responsibilities include operations, Supply Chain, Contracts, Export and Trade Compliance, Human Resources, Program Management and Financial Reporting. He is happiest spending time in the mountains participating in outdoors activities with his wife and two children.

Eric Takeuchi currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer for Monarch Quantum, where his responsibilities include corporate strategy and development, business growth, and product roadmap execution. “Happy place” is hanging out with family and cheering for our two young adult children whatever they may be doing.

Dr. Michael Pushkarsky currently serves as Chief Technology Officer, where he provides technical leadership in systems engineering, technology development, and innovation at Monarch Quantum. Michael’s role includes guiding complex quantum technologies from early-stage concepts and system architecture through rapid prototyping, verification and validation, and transition into production. Outside of work, Michael is passionate about cooking and hand-knitting sweaters for shelter animals in need.

Alex Whitmore currently serves as VP of Engineering where his responsibilities are in the design, development, and support of R&D projects at Monarch. Alex’s role includes understanding customers’ requirements and then translating them into our technology and product roadmaps. In his free time, you can find him playing tennis, swimming in the ocean, teaching his two kids how to be good humans, and exploring the world with his family.

Michelle Molina currently serves as Sr. Director of Investor Relations for Monarch Quantum, where her responsibilities include managing communications and relationships between the company, its investors, and other financial stakeholders. In her free time, Michelle enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Allison serves as the Director of Finance and Operations at Monarch, designing the financial, systemic, and physical infrastructure for rapid expansion. Combining deep financial expertise with long-term strategy, she aligns daily operations with big-picture company goals to prepare Monarch to scale. When she isn’t building business frameworks or helping her team, she is happiest by the water with a glass of wine and her dog.

Rob is Vice President of Business Development at Monarch Quantum. He works with customers to understand and interpret their requirements, turning them into specifications for photonic subsystems that support their quantum applications. He combines a deeply technical and scientific background with business acumen, identifying and segmenting markets, finding creative solutions, and mentoring the engineering team. You’ll likely find him in constant motion, bicycling through the hills, swimming in the ocean, hiking in the forest, camping with his kids, practicing yoga, or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen.

Taylor Stathopoulos serves as Director of Strategic Marketing at Monarch Quantum, where she leads brand strategy, public relations, media, go-to-market planning, and customer research across the quantum industry. Her role focuses on translating complex technologies into compelling stories and market strategies that build awareness, strengthen customer relationships, and support business growth. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys camping, spending time at the beach, and exploring San Diego with her husband, baby boy, and dog.
